Check the resistance in the brake coil (especially if the brake is not working):
The resistance between the two conductors must be about 30 ohm. If not, the brake must be replaced.
3. Handling: Lifting
3.1 Fork bracket
Check that the construction of the fork bracket does not have any cracks or fractures.
The forks are to have the same height.
3.3 Push rods, roller forks
Check that the push rods and roller forks function normally.
The fork bracket shall be able to lift and lower both when loaded and unloaded, without the bracket
being obstructed in its movements. Check that a distance of minimum 3mm from run-in rollers to floor
is available. Adjust push rods, if necessary.
4. Hydraulics
4.1 Function test
SGL/Panther SGL
All hydraulic functions shall be tested to their extreme positions.
The hydraulic system incorporates a hose safety valve, so that the lowering speed of the fork chassis
is reduced in case of hydraulic circuit failure. In case of hose fracture, the speed is not allowed to
exceed 0.6 m/s. The hose safety valve is placed in the cylinder. The valve is set at the factory. In
praxis it is not possible to check the valve functions afterwards
.
Panther Maxi/Panther Mini
All hydraulic functions shall be tested to their extreme positions.
