1. Propulsion unit, chassis
1.1 Chassis
Check that there are no cracks in the construction of the legs
1.3 Propulsion unit
Check that there are no cracks in the construction of the propulsion unit.
1.7 Different wearing parts and bushings
Check for play and wear in the bushings and other wearing parts.
2. Wheels, steering, brakes
2.1 Steering wheels and fork rollers
Check that all wheels can turn around.
Check that there are no cracks and fractures in the wheels.
Check wear and tear on the wheels and bearings.
Fork rollers should be larger than Ø75mm. Recommended: Minimum 10mm wheel tyre on
supporting wheels
2.2 Drive wheel
Check the wheel tyre. Recommended: Minimum 5 mm wheel tyre.
2.3 Handle steering, chain steering
Check the positions of the handle: operating position and top/bottom position with activated brake
functions. The handle shall return to vertical position automatically, when released.
2.4 Magnetic brake
The magnetic brake shall be capable of holding a truck on a slope of 10%.
The magnetic brake shall function automatically
Check the brake adjustments and coating.
Brake on 24 Volt drive motor

To regulate the braking torque, which can change due to daily operation, turn screw (D).
o
If the clearance (C) is more than 0.7 mm, the brake will need adjustment thus:
o
Loosen three screws (A)
o
Adjust three screws (B) until (C) is 0.2 mm
o
Tighten screws (A) while holding screws (B)
o
Check clearance (C)
o
When the brake lining (E) is worn to less than 5 mm, it must be replaced.
