3.11 Intended use
The Multi drum turner is designed for transporting, lifting and rotating many
different drums. It is only designed for the general handling of drums. Drums with
liquid, powder or solid material can be handled. If the contents are to be poured
out, the user has to carry through the work so calm that the contents do not
suddenly fall out.
The lifting height has to be as low as possible, until the user is familiar with the
machine.
If unwanted material should stick to the machine, stop the machine and activate
emergency stop before trying to remove the unwanted material.
Any use beyond this is contrary to the intended use.
Logitrans A/S is not liable for damages because of this; the risk is the sole
responsibility of the user.
3.12 Unintended use
Be very careful when cleaning the machine for material residues; this
area contains moving parts. Gloves and safety glasses should be
used and, where possible, appropriate tools should be used to remove
unwanted material to avoid direct contact with fingers and hands.
• Never use the machine without safety and protective devices.
• Never use the machine as a crane, lift or stand platform.
• Never use the machine with defective gripping arms, bushings or
bolts. Is a protection defect, replace it immediately.
•
Never
use the machine for other purposes than those described in
this instruction manual. Do NOT use the machine to handle other
items than drums.
• Never use the machine as a toy.
