If a problem does occur, it may often be due to something very minor. The
following table contains various tips.

Possible Cause

Controller has
no power.
• Internal battery has no power. • Recharge the
controller.
Controller
does not
respond.
• Controller has not been
connected to the console.
• Controller is too far away from
the console’s infrared sensor.
• Objects have been placed
between the controller and
the console’s infrared sensor.
• Use the mini USB
cable to connect the
controller.
• Move the controller
closer to the console.
• Remove the objects.
Controller is
connected,
but does not
respond.
• Controller has not been
assigned a Player Number.
• Ensure the controller
is connected to the
console then press
the button.
