7 Troubleshooting
7.1 Troubleshooting
Type of malfunction
Possible causes
Correction
Rotor does not run.
The error message (with
beeping) blinks in the digital
display of the Loctite controller.
After starting a dispensing cycle
the green LED in the plug lights
whereas the orange does not.
– Loctite Controller adjusted
incorrectly.
– Loose plug or connector on
the connection cord.
– Rotor cord 7 defect.
– Rotorspray motor assembly or
bearing assembly defect.
– Controller defect.
– Solenoid valve module defect.

Check the settings in the SET-UP
directory (see operating instructions
for the Controller 97152 or 97153).
•
Switch off the power switch
(controller). Tighten the plug or the
connector of the connection cord and
then switch on.
•
Replace the connection cord.
•
Replace the rotorspray motor
assembly or the bearing assembly
(see below).

Rotor starts and stops after a
short time.
The green LED in the plug
lights, the orange starts
lightning and extinguishes.
– The wrong start-up current
limit is set.
– Size of the rotor disk is not
suitable to the adjusted start-

dip switch 1 at the PCB.

Change setting or size of the rotor
disk.
Rotor starts and runs, but the
Loctite controller reacts wrong.
– Start-up current limit is not
adjusted correctly.

Rotor does not reach full speed.
Only the green LED in the plug

– Rotorspray was restricted in its
mechanical movement and
switched off.
– Rotorspray motor assembly or
