b) Trap without drainage bracket
- If a drainage bracket cannot be used, in order to discharge the re-condensed liquid, make a drainage
trap on the flexible discharge hose as indicated in figure ( e-f-g-h).
- Create a ring that has at least 150 mm diameter and whose highest point is at least 150 mm from the
drainage tube.
- Insert the other end of the drainage tube in the coolant collection tank or, alternatively, in a container,
as illustrated, being careful not to submerge the end of the drainage tube in the liquid since two
consecutive drainage traps could create re-condensed liquid drainage problems.
- Pre-load the trap following the procedure below ( trap initiation ).

If the trap cannot be created according to the previous procedures, the drainage tube can be directly
inserted in the coolant liquid tank or in a container partially filed with coolant.
In this case, make sure the tube is always submerged in the liquid to ensure perfect re-condensed liquid
drainage (fig. m).
