
NOTE:
You can copy files between the two devices by dragging and dropping them between
folders on your remote device and this computer. You can also right-click on a file or folder, select
Copy
, and then paste it to a location on this computer, or vice versa.
Send Files and Folders to Another Bluetooth Enabled
Device
You can send a file from this computer to another Bluetooth enabled device such as a mobile phone or
another computer. This feature provides a quick way to transfer files without requiring you to browse
the file system on the other device.
There are several ways of sending files or folders:
Using the Bluetooth Device Control Panel:
1.
If you have not already done so, add the Bluetooth enabled device to which you want to send files
or folders (see

).
2.
Double-click the Bluetooth icon
in the taskbar notification area. Double-click the icon for the
device, or right-click the icon and select
Control
.
3.
Under
Device Type
Operations\
File Transfer
, click
Send files to the
(
Device Name)
Device Type
4.Follow the onscreen instructions in
Bluetooth Send Wizard
.
Using the Send To Bluetooth option:
1.Open Windows Explorer and browse to the file or folder you want to send.
2.Right-click the file or folder, click
Send To
, and then click
Bluetooth
.
3.Follow the onscreen instructions in
Bluetooth Send Wizard
.
Copying or Dragging files and folders to the Bluetooth device icon:
1.Open Windows Explorer and browse to where the file or folder you want to send is located.
2.Double-click the Bluetooth icon
in the taskbar notification area.

Copy or drag the file or folder in Windows Explorer to the icon for the destination device in the
Bluetooth Devices
window.
NOTE:
You may have to authorize receiving the file or folder on the Bluetooth device.
