Send and Receive SMS Messages on My Phone
If you use the Short Message Service (SMS) on your Bluetooth enabled phone or other device, you
may be able to use your computer to send and receive SMS messages on your phone.
NOTE:
This feature is available on SMS-capable phones that support the Bluetooth Message
Access Profile (MAP). Refer to the documentation that came with your phone to see if it supports
this profile.
1.If you have not already done so, add the Bluetooth enabled phone (see

).

Double-click the Bluetooth icon
in the taskbar notification area. Double-click the icon for the
device, or right-click the icon and select
Control
.

Under
Phone Operations\
SMS Messages
, click
Connect
opposite
Connect the (
Device
Name
) phone to send/receive SMS messages from this computer
.
4.On the phone, accept the connection, if necessary.
Upon connection, the SMS Editor window opens on the computer. Messages currently stored on your
phone are downloaded and displayed in the SMS Editor Inbox.
