Installation:

LKK Commercial Gas Stockpot are to be installed by a certi

fi

 ed gas technician.

Technical Speci

fi

 cations:

The appliance installation must comply with the installation & ventilation requirements of AS/NZS5601.1,
Australian Standard, “Gas Installations” any local Authority regulation and the Manufacturer’s installation
instructions.

Warning: 

Do not install LKK Gas Stockpot in marine environment. Some examples include on a boat or

outdoor in the sea breeze. Doing so will result in unnecessary rust.
Remove all packaging prior to installation including the stainless steel plastic 

fi

 lm if any.

Inlet Connections:

Gas ¾” (20mm ¾ BSP) galvanised pipe threaded to individual holes

Use of Flexible Hoses:

Where it is intended to connect the appliance to the gas supply using a 

fl

 exible, it is important to use the 

correct type assembly for the application. Refer to AS/NZS5601 for hose connection requirements. The hose
assembly must comply with AS/NZS1869 – Class B 20mm (¾”) diameter minimum, and be kept as short as
possible. A chain must be 

fi

 tted to restrict the appliance movement to no more than 80% of the hose length.

Appliance Gas Regulator:

An appliance gas pressure regulator must be 

fi

 tted for Natural gas and LPG appliances.

Refer AS4563 – Commercial Gas Catering Equipment (implementation Jan 2005)

Fit an appliance isolating valve before the inlet. This must be a ¼ turn type, be approved and be in an 
accessible location when the appliance is installed and working.

A regulator is supplied with the unit for each burner:   Maxitrol, RV48  AGA#3088 (Natural Gas)

Regulator must be checked and adjusted to the correct working pressure using a digital manometer after 
installation. Skipping this step will compromise the stockpot burners performance.

Note: 

Never reuse an old regulator with a new appliance.

Commissioning:

Each burner 

fi

 tted with a regulator must be adjusted to the correct working pressure upon installation.

Refer to dataplate.

After Installation:

Before leaving installation check all gas and water 

fi

 ttings for leaks, and instruct the operator in the lighting 

procedure and use of appliance.

If unit fails to operate contact local distributor or call manufacturer.

Any of the following are deemed to be abnormal:
 

1. Burners burning with a yellow soft 

fl

 ame

 

2. Sooting of pots, pans and woks

 

3. Unusual odours being emitted when appliance is operating

Contact LKK or an authorised service agent if any of the above is present.
