Warranty Terms & Conditions
• All LKK Food Equipment appliance(s) come with standard 12 months parts and labour warranty. This
warranty will be effective from the date of purchase according to an LKK Food Equipment Australia invoice,
where there is no suf
fi
cient records, warranty will be effective from the date of purchased from the dealer.
• All LKK Food Equipment appliance(s) comes with an installation and commissioning checklist which needs
to be returned to LKK Food Equipment Australia Head of
fi
ce.
• The liability of LKK Food Equipment Australia under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement
of defective goods or components. All other costs including, without limitation, cartage, carriages and
installation shall be borne by the purchaser.
• Warranty labour is supplied free of charge during business hours between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm AEST
Monday to Friday. Should warranty work be requested outside of these normal working hours, a labour
charge will be applied. Claims for non-covered parts, no fault found, travel over 100km or other items
outside our standard terms and conditions will be chargeable.
• LKK Food Equipment Australia warranty only applies to all major state capitals in Australia. Rural or remote
areas will incur a fee for travel time and shall be borne by the customer.
• Warranty is valid only if the appliance has been installed in accordance with local regulations by an
authorised person, and the LKK installation instructions provided with the appliance.
• LKK has the right to determine whether or not a fault is caused by faulty workmanship or material or that
any parts are defective.
• Defective part(s) must be returned to LKK Food Equipment Australia for inspection.
• LKK appliances must be installed in accordance of AS/NAS5601.1 and on a
fi
re-resistant base by an
authorised person.
Unlicensed gas installations and service is illegal and will not be covered by
warranty. LKK Food Equipment Australia reserves the rights to report any illegal gas work.
• A
Gas Certi
fi
cate of Compliance on Completion
for all gas installation work on LKK Equipment maybe
required to be sited before any warranty service begins.
• Evidence of tampering or unauthorised modi
fi
cations will void warranty.
• LKK appliance(s) must be commissioned according to the user manuals, if found to be under pressure,
warranty will be suspended until the appliance is correctly commissioned by an authorised person. A fee
may apply to the service request.
• If the customer fails to pay for service not covered by warranty LKK Food Equipment Australia reserves the
right to suspend the warranty.
• Warranty claims must be lodged with the retailer where the goods were originally purchased along with a
proof of purchase and a product serial number. Any missing information will prolong the warranty claim
service.
Special Provisions:
• Cleaning of spark and ignition sensors is not covered by warranty. Damage caused by oils, water and food
scraps falling into the burner are will not be covered by warranty.
• Cleaning of burners & pilot burners due to blockage caused by food scraps and/or oils is not covered by
warranty.
• Damages to wok handles or pilot covers are not covered by warranty.
• Thermocouple are covered by 12-month parts warranty.
• Components such as knobs, piezo (ignitors), pilot burner and burners are covered by 3-months warranty.
General wear and tear of these components will not be covered by warranty.
