Leveling Your Chair
Leveling, or balancing, your chair is very important during initi al setup and routi ne maintenance.
To adjust the leveler feet (2 people needed):
1. Place the chair in the positi on you plan to use it.
2. To determine which foot needs adjusti ng, att empt to “rock” your chair. If there is any
movement, the foot that is lift ing is the one that will need adjusti ng.
3. Person 1: Carefully ti lt the chair slightly to access the leveling foot you need to adjust.
4. Person 2: Using your hand, or a wrench if necessary, turn the leveling foot in the needed
directi on. (Counterclockwise will lower the overall height, clockwise will raise the overall height)
Moving Your Fusion

It is recommended to use 2 people to move your Fusion chair.
•
To avoid damage to your Fusion chair, it is very important that it only be lift ed from
certain positi ons (marked with
BLUE
circles below).
•
DO NOT try to lift from the headrest, sternum pad, or seat pad.
Basic Setup Instructions
Once your Fusion chair is positi oned for use and leveled, follow these steps:
•
Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet that is properly rated for the furnishing.
•
Arrange and secure the power cord so it will not create a tripping hazard.
•
Place the hand control where it will be safe and accessible.
•
Ensure the control is not in danger of being crushed by the lift mechanisms.
•
Turn the master switch to the “On” positi on.

Your Fusion chair is very heavy - extreme cauti on should be used to avoid
injury to yourself, others around you, and your table. DO NOT lift or move
without using proper safety procedures/equipment. DO NOT turn the chair
on its side for any reason.
