Secure with 2 1/2” screws.

Next install second rafter and repeat.

Now partial rafter is ready to install.

have 2 guys pickup the rafter as shown

and set on top of building.

Secure rafter to top plate and make sure

corners of rafters line up with the edge

of the top plate as shown.

Secure 2x3 that is attached to rafters

into 2x6 top plate with 2 1/2” screws.
