9. Light Kit Assembly (Optional).
motor housing
Remove 3 screws from top of light kit fitter.
If you wish to use the light kit
, remove finial,
finial plate, threaded washer and rubber washer
from bottom of light kit fitter.
Save finial, finial
plate, threaded washer and rubber washer for later
use.
Locate
BLUE
and
WHITE
wires in switch housing
labeled FOR LIGHT. Remove and discard plastic
that hold these 2 wires together.
Connect
WHITE
wire from switch housing to
WHITE
wire from light kit fitter. Connect
BLUE
wire from switch housing to
BLACK
wire from
light kit fitter. Make sure that molex connections
are secure.
To attach light kit fitter to motor assembly, align
holes in switch housing cap with holes in switch
housing. (Make sure to align gap on top edge of
the switch housing cap with the reverse switch
on switch housing for the correct fit.) Re-insert 3
screws that were removed above and use a
Phillips screwdriver to secure all screws.
Install 3 candelabra base 40-watt max. bulbs
(included).
Important
: When you need to replace bulbs,
please allow bulbs and glass shade to cool down
before touching them.
