OPERATION
5.1.
Safety
WARNING
Risk of injury on the rotating tool
Heavy abrasion due to contact with the tool can result.
Do not open or remove the brush protective hood during operation.
Do not reach into the rotating tool.
These works may only be carried out with the tool at a standstill and the petrol motor turned off.
The machine may only be operated by one person. Inform people to keep away from the working area, or
block it off.
Intended operating
position
The operator authorized must introduce feed movement using the handle. The stop relates to the
intended position of the machine.
During moving the parking brake must be released. During this the operator must not leave the intended
position of the machine. The parking brake must be activated again immediately after positioning!
Protective equipment
The operator must wear personal safety equipment according to the safety regulations, such as safety
shoes, safety gloves and safety glasses.
5.2.
Preparations for starting

Damage on the floor or the work area
Ensure that the floor on which work is carried out fulfils load carrying capacities
All obstacles must be cleared away from the working area and make sure there is sufficient lighting
To be able to use the machine safely and properly, the following pre-requisites must be fulfilled:
Check the machine for damages, loose screw connections and completeness of the attaching
parts.
Inspecting the motor oil level
Fuel tank must be filled with sufficient fuel
A suitable tool must be mounted
