4.1.1. Weighting with excavator shovel
NOTICE
An insufficient fastening can damage the drilling device and the drill stand.
Too much pressure can damage the drill stand or the pipe.
The drill stand must be held securely in place on the excavator shovel frame with a well-dosed
pressure.
WARNING
Danger through excavator shovel
Endangerment through movement of the excavator shovel in a confined work space

Instruct the excavator driver slowly and precisely.
 If possible maintain visual contact to the excavator driver.

Observe personal safety and keep body and hands out of the danger area.
Excavator shovel frame

For embankments, observe the minimum distance of the excavator to the edge of the
embankment.
 Lower the drill stand into the trench at the hanger, position it and load it adequately with the
excavator shovel.
