Reference to special types of danger
1.5.1.
Dangers to the operator caused by the machine
Work on the masonry saw and relocation with the saw blade in motion are forbidden.
The electrical motor of the masonry saw must only be taken into operation for cutting as per
intended use.
1.5.2.
Electrical energy
Only use original fuses with prescribed current strength. The masonry saw must be switched off at
once in case of interferences! Electrical work must only be performed by qualified specialists.
The electrical equipment of a machine must be inspected/tested at regular intervals. Defects, such
as loose connections or damaged cables, must be removed at once. The machine must be marked
to ensure that it is not taken into operation by other persons.
1.5.3.
Dust
For work in narrow spaces, observe any applicable national provisions.
To reduce dust formation during cutting, the saw blade must be lubricated with water. Dry cutting
is prohibited and will damage the saw blade.
