Do not cant the saw blade when cutting.
The mains plug must not be pulled under load.
Take the water pump from the tray if there is a danger of frost (already-frozen pumps must not be
switched on - thaw slowly).
Removing or opening the blade guard and reaching into the saw blade during cutting is forbidden.
This work must only be performed with the saw blade standing and the motor switched off.
1.4.4.
Special work in the scope of use of the machine
Any setting, maintenance and inspection work and dates prescribed in these operating
instructions, including information about the replacement of parts/partial equipment must be
complied with! This work must only be performed by authorised specialists.
Inform operating staff before starting performance of special and repair work! Indicate supervisor!
If the masonry saw is switched off during maintenance and repair work, the masonry saw must be
marked against unexpected reactivation.
Before cleaning, all openings into which no cleaning agent must enter for reasons of safety and/or
function must be covered and taped shut. Particularly electrical motors, switches and plug
connections are in danger.
After cleaning, remove the covers/tapes entirely!
Tighten any screw connections that have come loose during maintenance and repair work again!
If disassembly of safety facilities during equipment, maintenance and repairs is required, re-
assembly and inspection of the safety facilities must be performed at once after completion of
maintenance and repair.
Ensure safe and environmentally protective disposal of operating and auxiliary substances as well
as replacement parts!

Relocation of the masonry saw
Relocation of the masonry saw is only permitted with the saw blade standing still and the saw
head locked in place.
Before leaving the operating position, the electrical motor must be switched off and the saw blade
be at a standstill. There is a danger of injury from the rotating saw blade.
