STEP 4
– ASSEMBLING THE VALVE/WATER PUMP
FOR SINGLE OR DOUBLE FOUNTAIN
Thread the valve assembly and hoses onto
the water pump and place the pump in
the reservoir beneath the access hole in
the grating. It is important that the hose
attached to the ball valve go to the smaller
of the two rocks in the twin peaks kit option.
STEP 5
– POLYMESH SCREEN
Pull the threaded ends of the hoses
through the grating at the location desired
for placement of the rocks. Lay down
the mesh screen on top of the grate, and
cut small holes to allow the hoses to be
pulled through the screen. Trim the screen
between the edge of the grate and the
inside edge of the reservoir, so that no part
of the screen is hanging over the edge of
the reservoir. (This is to keep water from
“riding” the screen, and dripping outside
the edge of the reservoir.)
STEP 6
– ATTACHING THE ROCK BUBBLERS
Place the rocks on top of the grating, with the pipe over the protruding hoses.
Tilt the rocks on edge and thread the union and hose together on each rock.
Stand the LiquidArt fountain rock upright, keeping the flex-hose from binding
where it exits the grate.
STEP 7
– FINAL STEPS
Fill the reservoir with water and turn on the water pump by plugging it into
a grounded GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) 110-Volt electrical outlet.
