Startup mode
Function
Main menu
For normal operation
– the instrument starts in the main menu.
Only in this mode the instrument turns off automatically.
Remote
If the instrument is used in remote mode and controlled by a
computer via the serial interface. Advantageous especially when
no immediate access to the instrument is possible.
Monitoring
For stand-alone monitoring applications. Advantageous especially
when no immediate access to the instrument is possible.

The instrument has
different startup modes
:
•
regularly by clicking [RET]
•
by a signal via the serial interface
•
application of an external power source
•
after an internal reset due to a program instability
In case the instrument is accidentally switched on by clicking [RET],
it only switches off
automatically
if the startup mode “Main menu” is selected!
