7.4.2 Mounting
•
The shaft-hub clamping has to sit inside the bore by at least the clamp length (21 mm).
•
Slightly oil the shaft-hub clamping before mounting, do not use molybdenum disulphide
or fat.
•
Tighten screws opposite each other 180 degrees offset in several steps to tightening
torque T

(see above for details).

By tightening the screws, the inner diameter is reduced and the outer diameter is
increased. This ensures a stable clamping of the outer receptacle.
7.5 Brake Kit
As an option, a brake can be mounted on the motor shaft. For this purpose, LinMot offers a complete brake
kit consisting of a base flange, brake flange and pneumatic holding brake.
The pneumatic holding brake is controlled by the servo drive. A valve is also required to open and close the
brake. The brake acts on the shaft and is released by means of compressed air.
