If you receive any "Version Conflict" or similar
messages, and you are given a choice of over-writ-
ing any of your existing files, it is recommended
that you keep the existing files. You may receive
these messages many times, or you may not
receive them at all depending on your system con-
figuration and software.
9. Next, you will be asked to restart your comput-
er. Click on Yes. If you do not restart your PC, the
installation will be incomplete.
10. Once you are back at the Windows desktop,
the File and Printer Sharing window will appear
11. Highlight any resources that you want to make
shareable. Click on the arrows [>>] to move the
resources into the box on the right side of the win-
dow. Click Next.
12. The Client-Server selection window will
appear. You must now choose to designate your
PC as the server or the client on your network. If
you will be sharing an Internet connection through
a modem, it is a good idea to designate the com-
puter with the communications hardware installed
as the server. If you are using another PC's modem
over the network for Internet access or if you have
already installed a server elsewhere, pick client.
