ELECTRIC VENT VALVE ASSEMBLIES

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fasten pump to drum cover.
2) Assemble Adapter (Item 8), Check Assembly (Item
9) and Adapter Union (Item 10) together. Fasten
assembly into pump outlet.
3) Assemble Adapter (Item 11), Tee (Item 12), Elbow
(Item 18) and two Adapters (Item 13) to Solenoid
Valve (Item 14). Position Tee (Item 12) and Elbow
(Item 18) as shown in illustration.
4) Assemble, but do not tighten, Bracket (Item 17) to
drum cover with Hex Head Screws (Item 15), Spacers
(Item 19), Lockwashers (Item 20) and Hex Nuts (Item
21). Place Spacers (Item 19) between Bracket (Item
17) and drum cover.
5) Assemble Solenoid Valve subassembly to pump by
connecting Adapter (Item 11) to Adapter Union (Item
10) hand tight.
6) Hand tighten Hex Flange Screws (Item 16) to fasten
Solenoid Valve (Item 14) to Bracket (Item 17).
7) Align Bracket (Item 17) and Solenoid Valve (Item 14)
and then securely fasten Hex Flange Screws (Item
16), Adapter Union (Item 10) and Hex Head Screws
(Item 15).
8) Assemble Nut (Item 6) and Gasket (Item 5) to Vent
Tube (Item 7). Insert Vent Tube (Item 7) through drum
cover and secure with Vent Fitting (Item 3). Align Vent
Fitting (Item 3) as shown in illustration and tighten Nut
(Item 6) securely against bottom of drum cover.
9) Assemble Safety Unloader (Item 1) into pump outlet.
Align as shown in illustration.
10) Assemble Hose Assembly (Item 2) to Safety Unloader
(item 1) and to Vent Fitting (Item 3).
11) Assemble Hose Assembly (Item 4) to Elbow (Item 18)
and to Vent Fitting (Item 3).
