Automatic Climate Control Settings
The remote start feature allows you to pre-condition
your vehicle’s interior. When you set the climate
control system to
AUTO
, it automatically adjusts the
cabin temperature during a remote start if the remote
start climate control settings are set to
AUTO
in the
information display.
In hot weather, the air conditioning automatically
turns on. In cold weather, the heat automatically turns
on. See the
Climate Control
chapter of your
Owner’s
Manual
for more details.
Climate Controlled* Front Seats
To use, press the heated or the cooled seat symbol
on the touchscreen to cycle through the various
settings and off. Warmer or cooler settings are
indicated by more lights. The climate controlled seats
function only when the engine is running.
Remote Start
Remote start allows you to start the engine from
outside your vehicle using your key. To start, press
and then press
twice within three seconds.
When inside, shift into drive (D) and go. To switch the
engine off from outside the vehicle after using your
remote start, press
once.
An LED on the key provides status feedback of
remote start or stop commands:
Solid green:
The remote start or extension
was successful.
Solid red:
The remote stop was successful and
the engine is off.
Moonroof*
To open the moonroof, press the
open button.
It stops short of the fully opened position. To open
the moonroof fully, press the
open button again.
To close, press the
close button. To vent the
moonroof, press the
vent button.
The sunscreen automatically opens with the
moonroof, but if the moonroof is closed, you can
open the sunscreen by pressing the
open
button. To close it, press the
close button.
Sunshades*
A control for the power rear sunshade is on the
overhead console and rear seat armrest*. Press and
release the control to open and close the sunshade.
To stop motion and return the shade to its previous
position, press the control a second time. The shade
automatically retracts when you shift the transmission
into reverse (R).
Manual sunshades can be found on the rear
side windows.
Rear Passenger Climate Controls*
The rear climate controls allow rear passengers to
adjust the temperature, fan speed and air distribution
for the rear seating area. You can select the fan
speed control lock to restrict the control of the rear
settings to the touchscreen.
Rear Climate Controlled Seats*
The rear seat climate controls are on the rear of the
center console. For heated seats, press the
button. For ventilated seats, press the
ventilated
seat button. Press the desired button to cycle
through the various heat settings and off. Warmer
settings are indicated by more indicator lights.
Note:
You must switch the engine on to use
this feature.
Rear Passenger Audio Controls*
The rear audio controls on the center armrest allow
rear passengers to change the media source and
adjust the volume. You can also seek, fast forward,
or reverse when in CD or USB mode. There are also
two USB ports in the arm rest compartment.

Power Rear Head Restraints*
If you need more visibility out of the rear window,
press the
button on the overhead console to fold
the rear outboard head restraints down.
Automatic High Beam Control*
The system automatically turns on the high beams
if it is dark enough and no other traffic is present.
When it detects the headlights of an approaching
vehicle, the rear lamps of the preceding vehicle or
street lighting, the system turns off the high beams
before they distract other drivers. The low beams
remain on. You can turn this system on and off
by using the information display to the autolamps
position. See the

Headlamp Exit Delay
After you switch the ignition off, you can switch the
headlamps on by pulling the direction indicator
lever toward you. You will hear a short tone. The
headlamps will switch off automatically after three
minutes with any door open or 30 seconds after
the last door has been closed. You can cancel this
feature by pulling the direction indicator toward you
again or switching the ignition on
Rear Power Recline*
Use the control on the passenger side rear door to
recline the outboard rear seatbacks.
