A.2 Enable SES (Disables DES)
Power ON FineLine System wall power. Log on Burny CNC under Technician
or Burny Service account. Verify Burny application and CutLinc Server are
closed. Run Shutdown Burny Services on Desktop.
In Windows Programs and Features, verify if FineLine Service Installer (FLSI)
and CutLinc Server have previous installations. If no previous installations, go
to Step 3. Otherwise, uninstall previous FLSI and CutLinc Server.
Run FLSI and select Burny installation type.
Install CutLinc Server package, then Burny package.
Commission all devices per FineLine Plasma System Operator’s Manual.
On Burny CNC, in File Explorer, navigate to:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Lincoln Electric\Burny\
Right-click SESU.exe and select “Run as administrator.”
Command prompt dialog will display FLGC and APC info. Close dialog after
complete (“NVR updated successfully”).
Power OFF wall power to FineLine System, wait 30 seconds, then power ON
FineLine System.
Verify Torch Height Control single edge start is functional by checking IHS and
cutting process.
NOTE:
the THC may require
Burny Arc Hold Enable, FLxxx Mode
to be
False
in: Utilities > System Setup > Motion Configuration > Machine Parameters.

To return the FineLine System to use two CNC start signals (double edge start):
Power ON FineLine System wall power. Log on Burny CNC under Technician
or Burny Service account. Verify Burny application and CutLinc Server are
closed. Run Shutdown Burny Services on Desktop.
On Burny CNC, in File Explorer, navigate to:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Lincoln Electric\Burny\
Right-click “SESU Disable” and select “Run as administrator.”
Command prompt dialog will display FLGC and APC info. Close dialog after
complete (“NVR updated successfully”).
Power OFF wall power to FineLine System, wait 30 seconds, then power ON
FineLine System.
