6. Easy mitre angle
6.1 Set the arms (6) & (8) to the desired angle.
6.2 Press the MITRE key (5) in 1 second. The MITRE angle will be shown on the display.
(Mitre angle = 90°- 1/2 X)
6.3 The display will be locked on that angle and the MTR indicator will appear and the
MTR symbol will flash in the display.
6.4 Set Mitre saw according to above MTR reading.
6.5 Press the MITRE key to return to normal measuring.

7. Compound angle mode
Note: For compound angles such as cuts for crown moulding, the unit can easily and
quickly calculate Mitre and Bevel angles for mitre saw with determined Spring (SPR)
and Corner (CNR) angles.

7.1 SPR angle
7.1.1 Find out SPR angle (the angle between crown moulding and wall), it is usually 38° or
45°.
7.1.2 Start compound mitre mode. Press the MITRE key (5) for >2 seconds.
7.1.3 The SPR indicator will flash and show last stored value, adjust the arms (6) & (8)
until the displayed angle matches the known spring angle (in the case 38°).
7.1.4 Press the MITRE key (5) for >2 seconds. The displayed value will flash once and the
spring (SPR) angle are now stored in memory.
