Changing batteries:
Open the battery cover shown in picture 1, replace the three batteries and close the battery cover.
Operation:
1. Main switch:
When pushing the switch shown in picture 2 the laser will change from OFF → Locked → ON.
When in OFF position the laser beams are off and the pendulum is fixed.
When in Locked position the laser beams can be turned on put the pendulum is fixed.
When in ON position the laser lines can be turned on and the pendulum will self-level.
2. 1001
R Red laser:
2.1 Push the main switch to ON position. This release the pendulum and turns on both the horizontal and
vertical line.
2.2 Press
button one time to turn the vertical line on.
2.3 Press
button a second time and only horizontal line will be on.
2.4 Press
button a third time and the cycle is complete and it returns to start position with both the
horizontal and the vertical line will on.
2.5 Press the button, the laser will be on pulse mode and then you can use the laser with a red laser line
detector. Press pulse button again to exit the plus mode.
2.6 While any laser line is on, you can push the main switch Lock position. The pendulum will now be
locked and the laser can be used in slope mode. Push main switch to exit this function.
3. 1001
G Green laser:
3.1 Push the main switch to ON position. This release the pendulum.
3.2 Press button and the horizontal line will be on. Press button again to turn off the horizontal line. If
the angle of the unit becomes more that ± 3° the line will be turned off and the unit will start to beep.
3.3 Press button and the vertical line will be on. Press button again to turn off the vertical line. If the
angle of the unit becomes more that ± 3° the line will be turned off and the unit will start to beep.
3.4 Pulse function is always active on 1001 G so you can use the green laser line detector with the laser all
the time.
3.5 While any laser line is on, you can push the main switch Lock position. The pendulum will now be
locked and the laser can be used in slope mode. Push main switch to exit this function.
3.6 If the voltage is lower than 3.2 V, the unit will start to beep and the batteries need to be replaced.
4. Notice:
4.1 The laser unit should be put on a level surface, such as desktop, ground, tripod, etc. Self-levelling range
is ±3°, the laser lines will be turned off and a busser will start sounding if the laser is out of self-levelling
range.
4.2 Make sure to lock the pendulum when not using and it is stowed away for safe keeping.
Check the horizontal laser line accuracy:
1. Find two walls where the distance is 5 m.
2. Put the laser on the top of tripod and place it in the middle (2,5 meters) of the two walls.
3. Turn on the horizontal and vertical laser line and then point the laser cross to point marked a1 on wall A.
Mark this position.
4. Turn the laser 180 degree and point laser cross to point marked b1 on wall B. Mark this position.
(Note: The procedure has created a ”0” line between a1 and b1).
5. Move the tripod so the laser is 60cm away from wall A. Lower the tripod about 2-3 cm and then point
the laser cross to point a2 and b2 and mark the position.
6. Measure the difference in height between a1 and a2 (a1-a2).
