Camera Tray Release

Mounting the Camera

1.  Remove the monitor back by pushing the latch locks in and rotating the  

latches down and forward of the housing body (Refer Fig. 3).

2.  Remove the camera tray. Push the camera tray forward with one  

 

hand. With your other hand press the tray release latch down (Refer Fig  
4). Gradually release pressure with the hand holding the camera tray and  
the camera tray will slide out of the housing.

 3.  Configure  the  camera  tray.  Refer  to  the  separate  configuration  sheet  to 

determine if you need to change the adapter tray orientation or the size 
spacers for your camcorder.

 4.  Position  the  camera  tray  underneath  the  camera’s  tripod  mount  and 

tighten.

 5.  Connect  the  cable  on  the  front  of  the  camera  tray  to  the  camcorder’s 

microphone  jack.  Note,  the  2.5mm  microphone  jack  is  not  included  on 
some camcorders.

6.  Attach the large yellow cable to the camcorder’s A/V Out (or A/V R). It 

may be necessary to partially insert the camera and tray inside the housing 
depending on the location of the A/V Out jack on the camcorder (Fig. 5).

 7.  Slide the camera tray forward until the latch engages.
 8.  Install 4 high capacity rechargeable AA batteries into the monitor back 

(2400 mAh or higher Nickle Metal Hydride) .

 9.  Plug the video out cable from housing into monitor back (Refer Fig 6).
