Using the Bluefin in VTR Mode
Push the Bluefin’s Mode button until the camcorder enters VTR Mode as listed and illustrated
below, the Bluefin’s Smart Grip Controls allow you to controls the camcorder’s VTR functions
while the camcorder is still inside the Bluefin.

LED Status Information
Standby/Ready Mode - When the camera is fully charged and ready for use, the LED will
be a steady, solid green.
Recording Mode - Once the camera is recording video, the LED will turn to a solid red.
Moisture Alarm - In the event of moisture being detected, the LED will flash red and
green with an accompanying buzzer until the housing is turned off. If the moisutre were
to lose contact after the alarm has been triggered, the buzzer will cease and the LED
will continue to flash. As soon as moisture is detected again, the buzzer will sound off.
Initialization - When the camera is first turned on, the LED will flash red and green in
unison with the buzzer for about 3 to 5 seconds. This is normal. Once the LED’s stop
flashing and the buzzer ceases, the housing has booted and connected to the camera.
