• After using the blood pressure monitor, unplug the
AC Adapter from the power outlet first and then dis-
connect it from the blood pressure monitor. As soon
as you unplug the AC Adapter, the blood pressure
monitor loses the date and time setting but the saved
measurements are retained.
Detailed instructions concerning the use of the AC
Adapter can be obtained from the manual which is in-
cluded in the AC Adapter box. Please read and under-
stand all instructions and warnings completely and care-
fully before using the AC Adapter.
Make sure to take the batteries out of the battery com-
partment before using the adapter.
6. Measuring blood pressure
WARNING:
• People with disabilities, activity limitations, or who are
physically frail, should be assisted by another person
when using this unit.

to measure your blood pressure.
• Read and understand all instructions and warnings be-
fore using this device.
• Like any oscillometric blood pressure measurement de-
vices, certain medical conditions can affect the meas-
urement accuracy, among others:
– disorder of the cardiac rhythm
– very low blood pressure
– patients in shock
– patients with very low blood perfusion
– diabetes
– blood vessel anomalies
– people with electrical implants, such as a cardiac
pacemaker
– women who are pregnant.
Due to their condition the oscillometric measurement
method can produce incorrect readings. This repre-
sents a risk for your health, since values may be inter-
preted incorrectly. Always consult your physician to
determine what will be suitable for you.
