35. DATA MANAGEMENT – SCAN DELETION

Selecting data management brings up the sub-menu shown above; you have two options:

Clear Local Face

 – this will delete ALL registered users from the device.

Clear Local Attendance

 – this will delete ALL scans from the device.

Note:

a.  If you have uploaded these (scans) to the server via the software, those records are NOT deleted, ONLY those 

on the iR37.

b.  Use this option if you wish to clear at the end of the day all visitor and employee scans – say for data protection 

or GDPR considerations.

c.  If using the device/s across a network you will still need an internal GDPR policy to remove those scans from 

your data sets which are no longer required within the regulatory period.
