The Accent 800 is a Windows-based product that has access to Windows and to Windows applications.
When you work with Windows features, you may find the following terms useful.
Tiles
Icons on the Windows Start screen that launch applications
Charms Menu
A slide-out menu that provides easy access to different functions such as Settings
and the Start Window
Shutdown
In Windows 8, selecting the
Shutdown
option from the Power Off menu only puts
the device to sleep. It does
not
initiate a complete shutdown.
