AC Transformer
THE PROGRAM
This transformer can be used with
most LGB products that require AC
power, including:
- Electric switches and signals (using
51750 or 17100 control)
- 10560 Electric Uncoupler
- 50500 Street Light
- 51750 EPL Control Box
- 51800 On/Off Control Box

OPERATION
CAUTION! Safety advice:
- This power supply should be
inspected regularly for possible
dangers, such as damage to the
housing. If damage is found, do not
use this power supply.
- Disconnect this power supply from
house current before cleaning the
housing.
- Disconnect this power supply from
house current if there is a short cir-
cuit or overload. Remove the short
circuit or overload before connect-
ing the power supply again.
- This power supply is for indoor use
only. Keep it away from moisture.
Do not install it in an enclosed
space.
- Do not insert the black and white
cable into a house current outlet.

- Do not connect the toy to more
than one power supply.
- This power supply is for use with
LGB and LEHMANN products only.
- This product is not a toy. This prod-
uct is not for children under 8 years
of age.
- Save the supplied instructions and
packaging.
Preparation
Connect the black and white wires
according to the instructions provid-
ed with the powered accessory prod-
uct. Plug the transformer into a
house current outlet.
Overload Protection
This transformer is equipped with
overload protection against short cir-
cuits and overheating. If the trans-
former is overloaded, this device will
turn the transformer off.
If this happens, unplug the trans-
former from the house current outlet
immediately:
1. Short circuits: Find and remove
the short circuit. Reconnect the
transformer.
2. Overheating: Wait several minutes
for the transformer to cool. Then
continue operation with fewer
accessories.

To connect this power pack to your
layout, we recommend:
- 10152 Insulated Track, Double,
150 mm (equipped with terminals)
- 50160 Track Power Cable
If your layout also requires AC power
for accessories, we recommend:
- 51081 AC Transformer, 0.5 Amp,
18 Volt, 120 Volt

Preparation
Connect the power pack to the layout
using the red and blue terminals on
the rear of the power pack. Push
each terminal inward slightly. Insert
the connecting wire into the hole on
the top of the terminal.
Plug the power pack cord into a
house current outlet.
Speed/Direction Control
The knob on the face of the power
pack is a combination speed and
direction control.
When the knob is in the “center off”
position, the locomotive will stop.
Turn the knob to the right, and the
loco will travel in one direction. Turn
the knob to the left, and the loco will
travel in the opposite direction. The
further you turn the knob, right or
left, the faster the loco will travel.
Multi-Train System
This power pack can be used with
the LGB Multi-Train System.
However, it will only provide enough
power to operate one or two locomo-
tives at the same time. The actual
number of locos you can operate
depends on the power requirements
of those locos.
To use this power pack with the
Multi-Train System, connect the
power pack to the Central Station.
Turn the speed/direction control to
the highest position (4) and plug the
power pack cord into a house current
outlet.
