For determining the proper water temperature for your home,
refer to the chart below.
NOTE

To reduce point of use water temperature, Thermostatic
Mixing Valves are recommended. These valves automatically
mix hot and cold water in branch water lines. It is
recommended to use a mixing valve.
DANGER
Households with the elderly, children, or people with
disabilities may require a 48 °C or lower thermostat setting to
prevent contact with “HOT” water.

Higher water temperature increases the potential for Hot
Water SCALDS
Water temperature in the heater is regulated by the buttons on
display. The water temperature of this water heater is factory
set to 50 °C to comply with safety regulations. For information
about adjusting the water temperature, refer to the operation
section in this manual.
