HMI SETTINGS/INSTALLATION
Heat Source Setting
1) Heat Source for Cooling Setting
- Click the " " button to see the list of heat sources you can select from as shown below.
- Select 'Refrigerant (Air Cooled)' if an air cooled outdoor unit is installed, and 'Refrigerant
(Water Cooled)' if an air cooled outdoor unit is installed.
Select 'Cold Water' if a cold water valve is installed.
(The image of LG product will appear on the HIM Outdoor Unit Screen it's set to 'Refriger-
ant'. A valve control value will appear if it's set to 'Cold Water'.)
2) Heat Source for Heating Setting
- Click the " " button to see the list of heat sources you can select from as shown below.
- Select 'Refrigerant (Air Cooled)' if an air cooled outdoor unit is installed, and 'Refrigerant
(Water Cooled)' if an air cooled outdoor unit is installed. Select 'Hot Water or Steam' when a
hot water or steam valve is installed. (The image of LG product will appear on the HIM Out-
door Unit Screen it's set to 'Refrigerant'. A valve control value will appear if it's set to Hot
Water or Steam.)
In order to set the heat source for each
mode, press the button on the box to see
the list of heat sources that can be selected.
CAUTION
• The operation mode cannot be selected in HMI if the heat source for cooling (heating) is
not set correctly.
- The Cooling (Heating) mode cannot be selected if the heat source for cooling (heating) is
not set (Disabled).
- Only the Ventilation mode will be available if the heat source for neither cooling nor heat-
ing is not set, and default modes such as Cooling/Heating/Dehumidify/Outdoor Unit
Cooling and optional modes such as Humidify/Auto Ventilate will be disabled. Select the
correct heat source you wish to use.
