Read Current STB Channel
Displays the currently selected DISH Network channel number, for example:
Channel = 101
.
If you receive an error message, it may be necessary to reboot the ViP 222k either using the
“Reset Satellite STB” command described below or using the RESET button on the ViP 222k
front panel.
Set STB Channel
Retunes the ViP 222k. At the
Enter the channel number
prompt, type the desired
channel number, and press
Enter
. Either the ViP 222k will change to the specified DISH
Network channel, or an error message will appear.
Read Satellite Signal Strength
Displays, as a percentage, the satellite signal strength at the SATELLITE IN jack on the ViP
222k, for example:
TunerSignalStrength = 75
.
Read Satellite Lock Status
Indicates whether or not the ViP 222k is locked to the satellite, for example:
TunerStatus =
Locked
.
Read STB Serial Number
Enables you to view the ViP 222k serial number.
