Plasma Display Panel Troubleshooting - 2007
This Troubleshooting Procedure relates to the Power Supply used in the
47LB1
LCD Display Panel.
This explanation will aide the Technician in confirming the normal operation of the Power Supply without
needing to substitute the board.

Step 1
Remove the Power Supply Board from the unit and place it in the service position
Step 2
Connect AC Power to connector SC100 and confirm presence of
5v Standby
( P202 pin 3 ) and
AC Detect
( P202 Pin 1 ). Remove Power, if both are present proceed to Step 3.
Step 3
Place 100 Ohm ¼ watt resistor as shown in the Diagram (PG 8) between
RL - ON
( Pin 3 ) and
5v Standby VCC
( Pin 15 ) on the Sub Micon Board and apply AC Power.
The 6v and 12v Supplies ( see PG 9 for their locations ) should now be present. Remove Power.
Step 4
Install a 1K Ohm ¼ watt resistor as shown in the Diagram (PG 9) between
5v Standby
( P202 Pin 3 )
and
3.3v ON (
P202 Pin 13 ). Apply AC Power the remaining 19v, 24v and 3.3v Supplies should all be present

Failure at any of above steps indicates a problem with the Power Supply, the Board will need to be Replaced or Repaired
