6.6 Direct Call

The GDC-450H can be configured to dial a specific number when any button on the handset
is pushed. The Direct Call or Hotline number can be enabled and the number to call
specified. The direct call (emergency) number is transmitted on input from any key. This
feature may be used in cases where the User is not able to effectively dial a phone number,
and would need direct access for assistance from the Attendant or another party.

To enable Direct Call and input a number,

1. From the User Menu use the

Navigation

( ) button to highlight Direct Call.

2. Press the

OK

( ) left soft button.

3. Use the

Navigation

( ) button to select Yes or No and press the

OK

( )

button.

4. If you select Yes, enter the Direct Call number and press the

OK

( ) button.
