Assembly / Disassembly
1. Remove the three- (3) screws, which hold the top cover to the unit to top of the back pane.
2. Next remove the four (4) screws that hold the 2 back plates on each side of the rear panel.
The top cover fits tightly into groves on either side of the side panels of the MC-1 and is removed by being
pulled out carefully from the back of the unit. Once you have a grip on it hold the front of the MC-1 with one
hand and slide the cover off with the other.
Initial Inspection
1. Inspect the MC-1 for obvious signs of physical damage.
2. Verify that all switches operate smoothly
3. Verify that all socketed ICs are correctly seated.
4. Verify that all ribbon cables are correctly installed and secured.
5. Check for burnt or obviously damaged components.
