Where to find it — the base telephone
HANDSET LOCATOR button
Press briefly to make the
cordless handset ring, if you’ve
forgotten where you put it.
Press to adjust the
volume in the
earpiece.
EARPIECE VOLUME
and
buttons

MEM (Memory) button
Press to store numbers in memory,
and to make calls to stored numbers
M1, M2 and M3 one-touch memory buttons
For storing important numbers so you can make
one-touch calls to them
MUTE button
Press during a call to mute the mouthpiece or
microphone so the other person can’t hear you.
IN USE/RINGING light
This comes on when
you have a connection
to the telephone line
using the base tele-
phone. It flashes when
the phone is ringing for
an incoming call.
CORDLESS HANDSET IN USE light
This comes on when the cordless
handset is using the line. It flashes
when the cordless handset is ringing
for an incoming call.
LAST NUMBER
REDIAL
/PAUSE button
… as on the
cordless handset
RECALL button
You may need this if your
Big Button Combo is con-
nected to a PBX, or if you
use BT’s Select Services.
SPEAKERPHONE button and light
MUTE
Press to make, answer or end a call
using the speakerphone.
The light comes on when the speaker-
phone is in use, and flashes when you
press the
button.
