Administration of the LevelOne FNS-
6000
Once you have installed the LevelOne FNS-6000 and other hardware, and connected it to the
network, you can use your browser (supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later and
Netscape Navigator 4.5 or later; Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 is
recommended) to complete administrative tasks for the LevelOne FNS-6000.
Accessing the Administration Page
The following methods allows administrator to access the Administration page:
1. Launch your web browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 is recommended).
you know the IP address of the LevelOne FNS-6000, type the IP address in the address
bar of the browser and press “Enter”. The IP address can also be obtained on the
LCD display of the LevelOne FNS-6000 (see Appendix A).
Note:
If the computer you are using is connected to the LevelOne FNS-6000 via th
LAN port, please type the LAN IP address of the LevelOne
FNS-6000 (the default address is 192.168.1.254) in the address bar
of the browser. If your computer is connected to the WAN port, please
type the external IP address of the LevelOne FNS-6000.
2. Use the Quick Installation Wizard (see Appendix C) and double-click on LevelOne FNS
6000 in the list which appears. When the browser displays the home
