Connecting and disconnecting the battery pack of the optional UPS
For the UPS functionality the battery pack has to be attached before commissioning the
IPC.
If the IPC is disconnected from the mains for a longer time (e. g. transport, storage), the
battery pack has to be disconnected, as otherwise the rechargeable batteries of the battery
pack may be damaged by an exhaustive discharge.

How to connect or disconnect the battery pack

1. Remove the two screws

2. Carefully push the housing cover

slightly to the right and pull it forward (for
vertical mounting see illustration).
3. Connect or disconnect the connector

4. Carefully place the housing cover

on the housing.
5. Tighten the two screws
