so you can create your own customized music, data,
and video CDs or DVDs. The
Multi-Burner Drive
can –

CD-RW discs, CD-R discs, Audio CDs
RECORD:
DVD-R discs, DVD-RW discs, Type II DVD-RAM discs, CD-RW standard discs,
CD-RW high speed discs, CD-R discs
Please be sure that you own the CDs you are burning. It is illegal to burn songs you have
not purchased. It is also against Alvin ISD Employee Responsible Use Guidelines to
download music files blocked by the Alvin ISD filter.
You should save all of your files on your U: Drive regularly or periodically
back up your files
on your
U: Drive
or on a
USB thumb drive
. Files that are saved on the U: Drive can be
accessed anywhere else in the district or online at home through the Alvin ISD Cloud.
Back Up on U:Drive (On the Server)
1.
On your desktop, click on the
File Explorer folder
.
2.
Click the
U: Drive
that is
labeled with your
username
.
3.
Click and drag the items you
want to put in the U: Drive.
Back Up on a USB Thumb Drive
1.
Insert your USB thumb drive into
one of the USB ports.
2.
Click on the
drive
it is in.
3.
Click and drag the items you want
to put on the thumb drive.
You can also use
Google Drive
online at
www.google.com
to save your files because it
gives you 30 GB of storage, which is much more than you have available on your U: Drive.
