Chapter 2. Using your tablet
This chapter provides instructions on how to use some basic applications and many of your tablet’s features.
Initial setup instructions
To use the tablet the first time after you take it out of the box, ensure that you follow the instructions below:
1. Use the supplied power cord and ac power adapter to connect the tablet to an electrical outlet.
2. Press the power button to turn on the tablet.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the initial setup.
Using the multi-touch screen
This topic provides instructions on how to use the multi-touch screen.
Note: Your tablet screen might look different from the following illustrations.
Tasks Touch gestures
To open an application or perform an action on an open
application, such as
Copy , Save , and Delete , depending
on the application
Tap.
To scroll through items, such as lists, pages, and photos
Slide.
To move an object Drag an item to the desired location.
