Chapter 2. Roles and responsibilities
This section covers information about the roles and responsibilities involved in the replacement of different
ThinkAgile CP hardware components.
Each maintenance and replacement procedure in this guide is performed by one or a combination of the
following actors:
•
Solution administrator
: May be customer, third party, or whoever has access to the solution for
performing administrative procedures (Cloud Controller, infrastructure)
•
Customer or field service
: For physical replacement of CRUs/FRUs based on part type and entitlement
level
•
Lenovo Support
: Works with solution administrator to perform remote support procedures
The following table illustrates which roles are responsible for each of the tasks in this guide. Some tasks can
be completed by the customer alone, while other tasks require the participation of Lenovo Support.
