Remove the hard disk drive tray. See “Accessing system board components” on
page 21.

Disconnect all power supply wires.

Remove the screw holding the power supply.

Lift out the power supply.

System board

To remove the system board do the following:

Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect all external cables
and power cords; then remove the cover. See “Removing the cover” on page 20.

Remove the CD/diskette drive tray. See “Accessing system board components”
on page 21.

Remove the hard disk drive tray. See “Accessing system board components” on
page 21.

Remove the PCI riser. See “Installing adapters” on page 27.

Remove the fan by disconnecting the power cord from the system board and
unscrewing the 2 screws holding the fan in place.

Disconnect all wires connected to the system board.

Remove the 5 screws that attach the system board to the chassis.
