Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.

“Remove the Stylus Pen” on page 34

“Remove the lower case” on page 34

“Remove the battery pack” on page 35

“Remove the wireless module” on page 37

“Remove the speakers” on page 38

Step 1. Detach the WorldFacing camera cable connector, EDP cable connector, keyboard cable

connector, and touchpad cable connector from the system board.

Note:

Not all 300e/500e Chromebook 2nd Gen SKUs include the WorldFacing camera cable.
