Note: The Chromebook will be powered on automatically when LCD cover is open. Therefore,
please make sure that the battery connector is detached from the system board before doing the
following operations.
Step 5. Detach the touchpad cable

Step 6. Open the keyboard socket 6 , pull out the keyboard cable 7 , and then remove the upper case
in the direction shown by arrow 8 .
