How to digitize the records

1.  Turn on the computer 
2.  Turn on the turntable and connect it with the computer

Note: Before connecting the turntable to the PC, disconnect the turntable from 
your audio-system.

 

3.  start the audacity software.
4.  Remove the Dust cover
5.  Place the record of your choice on the turnt

33 rpm-> Release the 33/45RPM button.
45 rpm-> Press the 33/45RPM button.

10. Press the record button in the Audacity software

12. Press the stop button in the Audacity software to stop the recording

Toolbars 

 

Selection tool - for selecting the range of 
audio you want to edit or listen to. 

 

Envelope tool - for changing the volume 
over time.  

 

Draw tool - for modifying individual

Zoom tool - for zooming in and out. 

 

Timeshift tool - for sliding tracks left or 
right.  

 

Multi  tool  -  lets  you  access  all  of  these 
tools  at  once  depending  on  the  location 
of  the  mouse  and  the  keys  you
holding down.

Before connecting the turntable to the PC, disconnect the turntable from

Place the record of your choice on the turntable. If it is a 45 rpm, do not forget to

Skip  to  Start  -  moves  the  cursor  to

in  the  lower-left  corner  of  the

the  "Skip  to  Start"  button  first  if  you
