3. A battery protection feature is provided with the IPD-4500 system, and when the "warning, needs

charging" red indicator light is on, it indicates that the system will enter the automatic shut-off mode and

needs to be charged before it can be restarted for use.

In this case the system may exhibit distorted

sound or abnormal functioning and the battery needs to be fully recharged before operating the IPD-4500.

The system should return to normal after charging.

4. When the IPD-4500 system is charging, the power level indicator light is green and flashes. When the

indicator light is green  but  does  not  flash  anymore,  this  shows  that there  is  sufficient  power.  In  normal

conditions,  it takes  about  7  hours  from

 [red  light]  to

[green  light] when  the  power  switch  is

set  to  the  “ON”  position,  and  it  takes  4.5  hours  to  finish  charging  when  the  power  switch  is  set  to  the

“OFF” position.

When  using  the  NI-MH  as  the  power  supply,  in  normal  use  the  duration  of  IPD-4500  continuous  play

depends on the volume at which the music is played. At normal volume, it can be operated continuously

for over 8 hours.

5.  If  the  internal  rechargeable  batteries  cannot  be  recharged  or  the  playing  time  is  extremely  short,  it

indicates  that  the  service  life  of  the  batteries  have  ended,  and  they  need  to  be  replaced  with  new

batteries. (Please refer to the battery replacement instructions.)

6.  Due  to  the  intrinsic  limitations  of  rechargeable  batteries,  we  would  like  to  make  users  aware  of  the

following:

● Do not expose the batteries to heat or place them over an open flame. Otherwise, the batteries

will leak or explode.

●  Do  not  disassemble  the  batteries.  The  alkaline  liquid  inside  is  highly  corrosive  and  may  cause

injury.

● Do not short-circuit the batteries.

● Do not place the batteries in a closed container.

● Do not swallow the batteries.

● Do not use the batteries with reversed polarities.

● Do not mix old and new batteries. In particular, do not mix with nickel-cadmium batteries, dry cell

batteries, etc.

● Do not use a battery if it is leaking, is deformed, or has other abnormalities.

● Do not place the batteries in water, which will affect their performance.

● If the main unit will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries from the main unit. During

long-term storage, charge and discharge the batteries once a month.

● Use the batteries after they are fully charged. Do not charge batteries at temperatures lower than

0

°

C  or  higher  than  40

°

C.  Do  not  charge  or  discharge  batteries  using  current  not  of  the  specified

range.

● Keep the batteries away from infants and children. Do not let a child use the batteries unless he or

she understands how to use them correctly.

● If it is necessary to change two or more batteries at the same time, please fully charge all of the

batteries  before  use  and  store  the  batteries  in  a  cool,  dry  place.  Storage  conditions:  Batteries

should  be  stored  in  an  environment  with  a  temperature  of  10-35

°

C  and  humidity

  80%.  The

temperature for long-term storage (3 months or longer) should be 10-25

°

C.

● Do not forcefully strike, shake, or press the batteries.

7. Specifications of the batteries:
