C.2
Adjustment of minimum system
pressure
If the minimum ground pressure relief is insufficient, or if a
higher adjustment is required by way of “fixed setting”, the
minimum system pressure can be adjusted.
Please proceed as follows to ensure this adjustment:
- Unfold the machine (see chapter 4).
- Untighten the securing nut A (fig. C-1) of the pressure
adjustment system.
- Adjust the allen headed bolt B that controls the pressure
system.
By turning this bolt to the
left
you increase the setting;
by turning the bolt to the
right
, you decrease the setting.
Attention: even slight turning of the bolt may lead to a
substantial effect.
- Secure the new setting by tightening the securing nut A.
- Check the setting on the gauge by changing the system
pressure (see § 4.3).
- Repeat the above mentioned steps until you have reached
the required adjustment.
ATTENTION: a lower pressure setting increases the risk of
damage to the turf, while a higher adjustment may cause the
cutter bar to “float” (in the latter case, it may be sensible to
change the system pressure along the lines of § 4.3).
